It was a foul odour that brought Shook back to earth. He took off the shades and reached for his flashlight, but froze the moment he heard the most terrible sound behind him. Something was growling, but not like any animal Shook had ever heard of.
This was louder, heavier, more intimidating and above all horrifying.
He slowly turned around and saw two beady eyes staring at him. There, in the dark crevices of the basement, stood a creature, dark and foul. It was neither man, nor animal. It was a beast... and it wanted the shades back. -
